Summer 2000. At Microsoft in Redmond for the HPC 2000 porting lab. Microsoft set us up with a little office with two computers, three or four pre-production HPC 2000 devices, high-speed access to the Internet, etc. Very cool. Note I've eschewed the Baptist haircut.

It's me and Jeff Wheeler at Jeff's house working on PocketBible in April 2000. Those are pre-production Pocket PCs in the docking cradles. Jeff and I each run little peer-to-peer LANs at home. When I pack up my notebook to work at Jeff's place I can plug both the notebook and the CE device into the network for fast synchronizing and Internet access.

Me and Jeff at the Pocket PC launch event at Grand Central Terminal in New York City. April 19, 2000.
