This page originally chronicled the early days of my employment at Parsons, and it still does. But that Parsons Technology no longer exists. I guess that makes this record even more interesting, if less relevant. I anticipate that "QuickVerse" and "Parsons Technology" will mean less and less to people as time passes.
If that's the case for you, then read this as an adventure story... one man's journey from the metaphorical garage to the top of one of the more successful Bible software companies to date.
If you've been around long enough to remember running QuickVerse 1.0 from floppy disks, then this story will bring back some memories and fill in the background.
If you're one of those who's going to email me anonymously to tell me I'm stuck in the past, well, get a life. The reason this stuff is here is because it's always been here, and people ask about it. I've moved on to other more interesting stuff. But judging by my email, people do enjoy reading this historical stuff.
