The T-Shirt Museum

The T-Shirt Museum is under construction.

In the software industry, t-shirts are as important as stock options. We issued t-shirts with each new product release and each change in ownership of the company. We also issued company logo shirts for trade shows and other travel.

I just cleaned out my closet and found over 80 Parsons Technology shirts collected over ten years. Some are duplicates, but the point is there's a bunch of them. I've photographed them and published them here for your enjoyment.

In addition to the photos there is a lot of history and commentary here. You can start with the earliest one and work your way through, or click on a link below to go to a specific product.

If you're designing t-shirts for your company let me give you some pointers.
bulletDon't put the design on the back. It looks better on the front. Put the URL on the back.
bulletAnything but white! Dark colors are better than pastels.
bulletFor dress shirts, don't do short sleeves. Don't put anything on the back. Put the logo over the pocket (right side as you're looking at the person from the front). Don't put anything on the left.
bulletIn northern climates, consider sweatshirts for variety.
bulletDon't skimp on quality. Use a heavy shirt/sweat.

If you're a Parsons employee with a shirt you don't see here, send me a jpeg and a description of the product and I'll post it here. I have most if not all of the Church Division products but have very little from other divisions.
